Midnight Run Distillery sits on US Highway 221 in Bartow, Georgia, a small town tucked into Jefferson County about 45 minutes south of Augusta. Founded by husband-and-wife team Chris and Amy Holbrook in 2019, this craft distillery emerged from Chris’s background in engineering and Amy’s business expertise, combined with a shared passion for creating premium spirits. The distillery operates out of a purpose-built facility where they focus on small-batch bourbon, rye whiskey, and moonshine production using traditional copper pot stills and locally sourced grains when possible. What started as a dream during weekend conversations became reality when the Holbrooks decided to leave their corporate careers and dive headfirst into Georgia’s growing craft spirits scene. The facility includes a production floor, tasting room, and retail space designed to give visitors an authentic look at the distilling process from grain to glass.
