Brixeur Spirits sits on 18 acres in Oregon’s Willamette Valley wine country on Ribbon Ridge Road in Newberg, occupying a modern facility that serves as both distillery and event space. Founded by husband-and-wife team Randy and Danette Brixeur, the operation launched as an extension of their existing wine business, leveraging their deep knowledge of fermentation and their established vineyard connections. Randy brings decades of experience in beverage production, while Danette handles the business operations and hospitality side of things. They opened their distillery doors in 2018, focusing on craft spirits that reflect the same attention to terroir and quality they’ve applied to winemaking. The distillery produces vodka, gin, and whiskey, with plans to expand their aged spirits program as their barrels mature. What started as a natural evolution from their wine background has become a destination that bridges the gap between Oregon’s famous wine culture and its growing craft spirits scene. The Brixeurs designed their facility with visitors in mind, creating spaces that work for both production and entertaining, complete with tasting areas that overlook the production floor.
